Project: VertigoThe Vertigo project was lead by A. D. Cranfield. The configuration consisted of 2 coaxial contra-rotating rotors. It appears that the Vertigo never achieved takeoff but that it was constructed and tested. For more information see the following:
The Vertigo is currently (2007) at the Helicopter Museum in the UK either on display or being restored. The museum received in 1989 the "remains of the Vertigo Man Powered Helicopter Project". If you visit the museum, please ask to see it. If enough people ask, maybe they'll take it out of storage. The current status of this project is unknown. Any information would be welcomed.
