Project: Stacey Pedalcopter

This project is lead by Jon Stacey of the UK and started around August 2003. The website (www.pedalcopter.com) was last updated on 2006-09-11. I got an email from Jon Stacey on 2006-07-12. The project is not dead but it is currently on hold. I hope to get more information for this page later.

Based on the logo and text on the website, it seems that the configuration has a single main rotor and an anti-torque rotor (also called a tail rotor on 'heavier' helicopters). The text talks of a separate transmission for the smaller rotor. I bet that this rotor could be powered by the pilot/engine's arms. I hope to confirm this some day or even better get some photos for this website. If you have any information about this project, please contact me.
