Configurations
On this page, I will put information about rotor configurations including engine-powered helicopters with
configurations attractive to human powered projects. Click the icon below for a

- De Bothezat 4-rotor helicopter story. The same configuration as the Yuri 1
- Isacco helicopter with tip propellers. Same configuration as the Da Vinci III.
- Flettner Gigant helicopter. Same configuration as the Da Vinci III.
Louis Brennan (1922)
In 1922, british engineer Louis Brennan built a helicopter with blade tip propellers (the same configuration as the Da Vinci III). It made a few short low flights until it crashed. The project was not pursued after that.
